From Teacher to Trainer
Estelle's path to fitness wasn't planned. A former high school gymnast, Estelle was committed to staying active even as a busy mom and elementary school teacher. It was during her early morning fitness classes that gym directors began approaching her, recognizing her natural body awareness and teaching ability.
What started as reluctant substitute teaching at the local YMCA grew into a life-long passion. Estelle discovered she had a gift for helping people move safely and effectively, and her fitness classes grew through word of mouth.
35+ Years of Expertise
Now in her 60s, Estelle has spent over three decades specializing in fitness training. She understands firsthand the challenges of staying strong and active as bodies change, and she has developed an approach that builds real strength while respecting those changes.
Her programs have earned the trust of healthcare professionals who refer patients specifically to Bodyworks, knowing her expertise in working with joint replacements, arthritis, and other age-related conditions.
The Bodyworks Approach
Estelle's method combines strength and cardio in safe, comprehensive workouts that include bone-building exercises, complex movement, and balance work. This is functional movement training and injury prevention that will help you advance your fitness rather than simply maintain it.
